For a Steel core + modular building Project, considering 90% recyclable efficiency of steel, the unit building area of prefabricated steel modular building can be reduced by 300-400 kgCO2/m2; Compared with prefabricated concrete buildings, it can reduce carbon emission by 50% - 60%. Through the use of appropriate thermal insulation materials, the requirements of energy saving rate of 80% in Beijing standard for energy saving design of residential buildings (DB11/891-2020) can be met. The overall cumulative heat consumption index of the design building is 9.13kWh/m2, which is 45.3% lower than the reference building index of 16.7kWh/m2, reducing building energy consumption effectively.
On the basis of absorbing and learning from international successful experiences, CCICT has innovated and developed the ultra-low energy building technology system adapted to its own climatic conditions, and developed passive ultra-low energy buildings in cold, cold, hot summer and cold winter regions
Good thermal insulation envelope | High air tightness |
High performance exterior doors and windows | High efficiency heat recovery system |
No thermal bridge design |
Passive ultra-low energy buildings annual heating, cooling and lighting primary energy consumption ≤ 60kWh/(m2-a), more than 70% energy saving than energy-efficient building construction
Beyond the initial, CCICT has been seeking cooperation with other low-carbon areas, including new energy and photovoltaic fields.
