On June 27th, the 21st China International Housing Industry and Building Industrialization Products and Equipment Expo (hereinafter referred to as the Housing Expo) opened at the China International Exhibition Center in Shunyi. China State Construction was invited to join the E4 Pavilion's modular construction special exhibition area and took the lead in organizing the construction of the special area. They showcased a variety of modular construction products such as foldable houses and rapid construction schools to the visiting guests, highlighting new construction methods and contributing to the construction of "good houses".
In modular construction, the majority of the construction processes take place in a controlled factory environment, where modules are completed with all necessary components, including structural elements, flooring, ceilings, utilities, and interior finishes. These modules are then transported to the construction site and assembled like building blocks, significantly reducing on-site labor and construction time.
China State Construction's Integrated Solutions is deeply focused on intelligent manufacturing methods, green building products, and low-carbon urban development. Committed to driving industrial transformation through modular construction methods and promoting the iteration and upgrade of modular products with technological innovation, CSIC aims to become a leader in the modular industry and contribute to societal development.
Foldable houses
The foldable house products exhibited this time use a main structure made of thermal break aluminum, filled with polyurethane insulation, and equipped with graphene flooring at the bottom. It features double-layered waterproof gaskets and a rain cover on both the interior and exterior, with a sloping roof design for waterproofing and insulation. The interior area is 32 square meters, and when folded, it only occupies 8 square meters of space, achieving an easy folding and compression like paper folding, which greatly improves the convenience of transportation and storage. The assembly process is also simple and quick, taking only a few minutes to complete. Optional equipment includes photovoltaic energy storage, oxygen generators, air conditioners, electric heating films, and more. Whether in mining camps, disaster relief sites, or other situations requiring the rapid construction of temporary buildings, this type of house can be quickly deployed, offering flexible use and reliable quality.
Flash Construction School
The "Flash Construction School" product was displayed at the China State Construction Science & Technology booth in the E2 exhibition area of the Housing Expo. It utilizes Steel Modular Construction (SMC) technology, dividing the entire building into multiple unit modules. These unit modules are prefabricated and integrated in the factory, ensuring processing accuracy while construction work interfaces do not interfere with each other. After the unit modules are shipped from the factory, they are transported to the construction site for module hoisting, decoration, and equipment pipeline assembly, allowing for rapid use. This achieves standardization of the main structure, integration of MEP and decoration, and modularization of the enclosure walls, with an assembly rate of over 90%. It is like building modules like cars and assembling them like building blocks quickly.
