The first modular "Flash Construction School" in Ping Mountain District, Shenzhen, has been delivered.

Recently, the Nanbu High-tech Prefabricated School in Ping Mountain District, Shenzhen, undertaken by China State Construction's Integrated Solutions, has been completed and delivered (hereinafter referred to as "the School"). As the first modular "Flash Construction School" in Ping Mountain District, it will be in use by September.

  

The Nanbu High-tech Prefabricated School in Ping Mountain District, Shenzhen, completed and delivered by China State Construction's Integrated Solutions, will serve as a transitional campus for Shenzhen Foreign Languages School in Ping Mountain District. It is set to open in September, ensuring students receive a high-quality education. After its transitional function, the school can be repurposed as a labor base for other schools.

 

Constructed using Steel Modular Construction (SMC) technology, the school features modular classroom units, stair units, and restroom units that are prefabricated and integrated in the factory. These modules are assembled on-site through hoisting and connection, achieving a high assembly rate of over 90%. The school is designed to be earthquake-resistant, fireproof, and waterproof, and can be rapidly constructed within 60 days into a two-story building, ensuring a high-quality and safe school environment.

 

Located by the Ping Mountain River, the school is surrounded by lush greenery, offering a rich natural and cultural environment. The campus design includes a transparent ecological landscape window on the second floor, enhancing the connection between the campus and the surrounding natural environment. The teaching units are kept at a distance from the main urban road (a noise source) on the west side, and the main school buildings are placed on the north side, facilitating the creation of a safe drop-off and pick-up area. The design also incorporates a large activity space between the atrium and the sports field, creating a flexible campus space that provides a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for teachers and students.

Adapting to Local Conditions

— Open Design Enhances Fun Spaces —

 

Teaching units are kept at a distance from the noisy main urban road on the west side, while the main school buildings are located on the north side to facilitate the creation of a campus front square and a safe drop-off and pick-up area. The design incorporates architectural setbacks, creating a large activity space between the atrium and the sports field, providing a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for teachers and students. This design also creates a more flexible campus space, with open, elevated spaces that allow the building to meet educational requirements while providing ample activity space for students in a limited site area.
